Gold Coast hinterland mansion sold by Ultra Properties

The Bellagio La Villa, nestled in the Gold Coast hinterland on Tallebudgera Connection Road, was built by Paul and Viki Sweeney, the founders of Coral Homes.

It sold to a Gold-Coast based Chinese businessman, who intends to make the mansion his family home. The businessman also paid $1 million for the ornate, baroque-style furniture in the home, in a deal negotiated by property developer turned prestige sales agent Kevin Carlin of Ultra Properties.

“We were fortunate to have two interested Chinese buyers in some five weeks of negotiating,” Mr Carlin said.

“The property was sold within 90 days.”

The buyer has reportedly waived his five day cooling-off period to make the contract unconditional.

The luxury home features 10 ensuited bedrooms, multiple living areas, a library, media and music rooms, a gym, indoor pool and spa and a five-car ballroom garage.

It is accessed via a gated, tree-lined driveway with the southern boundary bordered by water. Horse stables and yards, as well as a machinery shed and caretaker’s cottage, are surrounded by manicured gardens.
